I finally got to meet Roger Corman at a Chiller Convention a couple of years ago. I have always considered his career to be an inspiration to all the people working in the independent film industry. It was in that capacity that he wrote the introduction to Lloyd Kaufman's "All I Need To Know About Fimmaking I Learned From The Toxic Avenger", a book greatly improved with the inclusion of Corman's introduction and Lloyd's frequent references to me.
